Description

Townsend Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse built of squared coursed lias with a plain tile roof. The building has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic. It features a two-window range of two-light casements on the first floor, which have wooden lintels. There is a mid-19th century six-panelled door located between the first and second windows, topped with a simple hood. The farmhouse is accentuated by large stone quoins, ashlar gable parapets, and kneelers, along with a central brick stack. To the left and rear, there are single-storey wings added in the 19th century. The interior has not been inspected.
