Description

This is a row of three headstones dating from the 17th century, located approximately 1 to 2 meters south of the southeast angle of the chancel of the Church of St. Nicholas. They are made of ironstone. The headstone on the right features a plaque framed by drapery, adorned with rosettes and a winged cherub's head, commemorating Patience Hunt, although it has no date. The central headstone has a plaque with an eared architrave and commemorates Joyce Hunt, who died in 1688. The left headstone is similar in style, but its inscription is illegible.
