Description

This is an 18th-century barn located in Glebe Field. It is constructed from coursed squared ironstone and features an old tile roof. The barn has four bays, with the principal elevation facing west. There is a doorway to the left of the center, which has a timber lintel and double-leaf doors, flanked by ventilation slits. The structure includes quoins, stone eaves, and stone-coped gables with kneelers. The gable ends have plank doors leading to the hay loft, with a small circular ventilation hole above the left gable. At the rear, there is a tall central ventilation slit flanked by stable doors that have stop-chamfered lintels. The roof is supported by a tie beam collar truss.
