Description

This is a pair of headstones located approximately 4 meters south of the chancel of the Church of St John the Evangelist. They date from the mid-17th century and are made of ironstone. Both headstones have shaped tops and feature inscriptions within shields. The left headstone is dedicated to Philip Watts, who died in 1660, while the right headstone commemorates Thomas Watts, who died in 1666.
