Description

Statue of "Autumn", located approximately 15 meters southwest of the Manor House, dates from the early 18th century and is made of limestone. It depicts Bacchus holding a bunch of grapes, symbolizing "Autumn". The statue stands on a moulded ironstone plinth and is part of a group of statues representing "The Seasons", which includes a central figure of "Atlas". This group is noted to have belonged to a formal garden layout from around 1700 at the Manor House.
