Description

These are two houses located in Cottesbrooke, dating from the hidden 18th century. They are built of squared coursed lias stone and have thatched roofs. Each house has a two-unit plan and is a single storey with an attic, together forming a four-window range of casements that feature glazing bars and are set under wooden lintels. The central entrance for each house has 19th-century ribbed doors, also with wooden lintels. The buildings have eyebrow dormers, ashlar gable parapets, and kneelers. There are brick stacks at the ridge and ends of the roofs. There is a 20th-century extension to the rear and a 20th-century roof structure on No. 3. The interiors have not been inspected.
