Description
The Old Farmhouse and attached stables, also known as Overstone Grange Farmhouse, date back to 1766. The building is constructed of squared coursed lias stone and features a slate roof. Originally designed with a two-unit plan, the farmhouse is two storeys high and has a two-window range of casements set beneath flat arches. A gabled porch with a plank door is present at the front, and there are brick and stone stacks at both ends of the house. To the left, there is a range of four single-storey stables, with one stable featuring a hayloft above it at the far left. All openings in the stables also have flat arches. Datestones can be found to the right of the hayloft. There is a 20th-century extension at the rear of the farmhouse.
