Description
Northbank House is a late 18th-century house constructed of lias ashlar with a slate roof. It features a three-unit plan and stands two storeys high with an attic, displaying a four-window range. There is a six-panelled door located to the left of the centre. The left-side windows are casements with wooden mullions and transoms, while the central windows are sashes with glazing bars. The windows on the right are also casements. All openings are topped with flat stone arches, some of which have keystones. The gabled roof has two pitches, with ashlar gable parapets and brick stacks at both the ridge and the end. The building has a moulded stone cornice. The rear of the house is similar in style but features 20th-century casements. The end of the mainly red-brick rear wing is in separate ownership and is not of special architectural interest.
