Description
The Old Building of St George's Secondary Modern School, including the wall and gateway, is a 20th-century structure located on Barrack Road. It is designed in the Neo-Tudor style and constructed from squared rubble and ashlar, topped with a Welsh slated roof. The building is one storey high with attics and features two stone-coped gables. On the left side, there is a large stone traceried window that is recessed, while the right side has a projecting section with a long five-light stone mullioned window. The ashlar yard wall has a gateway on the right, which includes an overdoor with consoles flanking a panel that displays a bas relief of St George.
