Description

No 1 Royal Terrace is an early 19th-century building located on Barrack Road. It is constructed of stucco with a tiled roof and stands three storeys high. The facade features two sash windows with glazing bars and has attractive cast iron balconettes on the first floor windows. The entrance includes a door with an oblong fanlight that has geometrical glazing bars, framed by a surround of Doric pilasters and an entablature. This building is part of a group with Nos 2 to 14 Royal Terrace, which are of local interest.
