Description

The farmhouse at West Haddon Grange Farmhouse dates from the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century. It is constructed of squared coursed lias stone with a slate roof. The house has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys high. The front elevation features a three-window range of sash windows on the ground and first floors, each set within a flat arch, with casement windows to the second floor. A late 19th-century rendered porch has been added. The building is finished with an ashlar moulded cornice, gable parapets, and kneelers. Brick stacks are located at the ends of the building. The rear elevation is brick-faced and contains sash windows with glazing bars, as well as two cellar windows with stone mullions, which may be remnants of a previous house on the site.
