Description

Haddon Dale, formerly known as the Limes, is a house that likely dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a slate roof with a double-depth plan. The building stands three storeys high and has a three-window range of sashes with glazing bars, all set beneath gauged-brick arches. The central entrance is a six-panelled door framed by a moulded wood doorcase, which includes a flat hood and panelled reveals. A moulded stone cornice runs along the top, and the roof is hipped with brick stacks at the ridge. There are 19th and early 20th century extensions to both the left and right sides of the house, and the interior was remodelled in the early 20th century.
