Description

The Crown Public House is an early 19th-century building on the north side of High Street, West Haddon. It is a two-unit public house with a brick front elevation and a slate roof. The building is three storeys high, with a five-window range of sash windows featuring glazing bars, all set beneath gauged brick heads. A central four-panelled door is accessed by a double flight of steps and is topped with an arch-headed fanlight containing glazing bars. Brick stacks are present at the ridge and end of the building. The gables feature ashlar parapets, with the left gable constructed of lias stone.
