Description

The Sheaf Inn Public House and Restaurant is a public house and restaurant dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of painted ashlar and features a slate roof. The building originally had a two-unit plan and stands three storeys tall, with a two-window range of casements that are set under flat arches with keyblocks. The entrance consists of a six-panelled, part-glazed door that is framed by a moulded wood doorcase. There are flat string courses between the floors and a moulded ashlar cornice. Brick stacks are located at both ends of the building. The interior has not been inspected.
