Description

The Cottages are two houses that have been combined into one, dating from the early 18th century. They are constructed of squared coursed and regular coursed lias stone and feature a thatched roof. The building has a 4-unit plan and stands two storeys high, with a four-window range of casements. The casements on the left have flat arches above them, while the three-light casement on the far right has a moulded stone surround. There is an ashlar gable parapet and a kneeler on the left gable, along with a brick stack at the ridge and end. There is evidence of two separate builds at the junction of the stonework below the central stack. To the left, there is a single-storey thatch extension, and a 20th-century extension with an entrance at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
