Description

Two houses, likely dating from the early 18th century, are located in West Haddon’s West End. The construction utilizes squared coursed lias and brick, topped with a corrugated metal roof. Originally, each house comprised two-unit plans. The two-storey facades feature a three-window arrangement of 19th and 20th century casements, each set beneath wooden lintels. Between the windows are six-panelled doors, each with a moulded wooden doorcase. Brick stacks are visible at the ridge and end of the buildings. The gable ends are brick, situated to the left and right. A 19th-century extension is present on the right side. The interior spaces include ceiling beams in the ground floor rooms.
