Description

Numbers 17 and 19, known as Harrow Cottage, are two houses from the early 18th century. They are constructed of rendered cob and have corrugated metal roofs. Originally, each house had a 2-unit plan. The buildings are two storeys high and together form a four-window range of casements, two of which still have remnants of leaded lights. There are 19th and 20th century doors situated between the windows, and brick stacks are located at the ridge. The interior of No. 17 features ceiling beams and original roof timbers. These houses are included as examples of cob construction.
