Description

Prince's Cottage is an early to mid 19th century building, likely dating from around 1840. It features a painted stone facade on stucco and has a hipped Welsh slate roof. The cottage is two storeys high and includes a first-floor band. There are three sash windows set in reveals, while the ground floor openings are adorned with cornices supported by brackets. A recessed porch with Ionic columns adds to its architectural appeal, and there is a small wing on the right side. Prince's Cottage is part of a group with Nos 6 to 10 Cheyne Walk and Eastgate House, Derngate.
