Description
Statue of Diana located to the northeast of Easton Neston House. This 18th-century statue is made of lead and is modeled after the Diana of Versailles (Diane Chasseresse). It stands on a square limestone plinth and was placed in its current position around 1930 as part of a formal garden design created by the 1st Baron Hesketh and his head gardener, Swainson. The park and gardens are included in the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission for England Register of Parks and Gardens at Grade II.
