Description

Cottesbrooke Hall bridge is a late 18th-century structure designed by Robert Mitchell. It is built of limestone ashlar and features three arches, with the central arch being larger and rising from a short pointed cutwater. The bridge has architraves to the arches, a frieze, and a cornice. It is topped with an open balustrade parapet that includes panelled piers and moulded coping. The ends of the bridge have a solid balustrade that is splayed under at the approaches. Between the arches, there are circular fluted paterae ornaments.
