Description

The Old Windmill is an early 19th-century tower mill located in Blakesley, near the settlement of Quinbury End. Constructed of red brick in English bond, the mill stands as a five-storey tower, notably lacking a cap or sails. A plank door with a segmental brick head is accessed via five stone steps. The tower features a variety of windows: some include 12-pane sash windows, while others are two-light casement windows, all with segmental-arched heads.
