Description
Home Farmhouse, dating from the 18th century with 19th century alterations, is constructed of coursed squared ironstone and features a slate roof with 19th century brick end stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a four-panel part-glazed door set within an open porch that has trellis sides and a segmental lead-covered roof. The farmhouse is fitted with 19th century sash windows, each with four large panes and timber lintels. There is a blocked door to the left of the central entrance. The structure includes quoins and stone-coped gables with kneelers.
To the right of the farmhouse is an attached outbuilding, which was formerly a pair of cottages. This outbuilding features two plank doors with timber lintels at the center, with the right door extending over a two-light casement window to the right. There is a similar window to the left of the left door, and above these, a 19th century four-pane sash window on the first floor, all with timber lintels. The outbuilding also has quoins and stone-coped gables with kneelers. A one-storey link connects the farmhouse to the outbuilding. The interior has not been inspected.
