Description

No. 159 High Street is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of limestone with ironstone bands and features an ironstone front that is rendered and lined to imitate ashlar. The roof is a plain tile from the 20th century, with coped gables and moulded stone end stacks that have twin shafts. The building has two parallel ranges and stands two storeys high with a three-window range. There is a raised band between the storeys. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with an overlight that has Gothick tracery, flanked by 6/6 sash windows, all of which feature keystones. The interior has not been inspected.
