Description
Nos. 31 and 32 are two dwellings that were originally a house, likely built in the early 18th century and altered in the 20th century. The building is constructed of regularly coursed limestone and features a thatched roof. It has a two-storey, two-unit, lobby-entry plan. The front has a four-window range with irregularly spaced 19th and 20th-century casements, some of which have glazing bars, all situated under wooden lintels. There are 20th-century doors on the far left and right, also under wooden lintels. The door to No. 31 is positioned at an angle where it meets No. 30. There is evidence of a blocked central door. A brick and stone stack is located at the ridge, and there are lean-to extensions at the rear, along with a 20th-century extension to the right of the main front. Inside No. 32, there are remnants of an open fireplace and stop-chamfered ceiling beams.
