Description
Barnwell Barnwell All Saints is a house that dates from the early to mid-18th century and was restored in the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a thatch roof. The original layout was a two-unit plan and the building has two storeys. The front has a two-window range of 20th-century casement windows under wooden lintels, with some original windows remaining. The first-floor windows are topped with shallow eyebrow dormers. There is a central fire window, and to the left of center is a 20th-century door leading to No. 30, while a similar door to No. 31 is located at the far right. Both doors are also under wooden lintels, with the one to the right featuring a thatch hood. A rebuilt stone stack is positioned at the end of the building. Attached to the left is a single-storey outbuilding that is similar in style and now forms part of the house. The rear elevation mirrors the front, showing some signs of roof raising. Inside, there are remains of two open fireplaces. The building is included for its group value.
