Description

This gate arch, located approximately 75 meters west-northwest of the Church of All Saints in Kings Cliffe, is likely from the 15th century. It is constructed of limestone ashlar and features a moulded stone surround with a four-centred arch-head. The spandrels are decorated with fernleaf designs, and the arch has stepped coping. It is said to have been reset from Fotheringhay Castle.
