Description
The gargoyle, now a churchyard sculpture, is located adjacent to the northwest corner of the vestry of the Church of St. Mary. It is likely from the 14th century and is made of limestone ashlar. The sculpture depicts the head and shoulders of a man and was removed from the church tower following its collapse around 1967.
