Description
The White Horse Public House is a public house dating from 1706, as indicated by its datestone. It is constructed of squared coursed ironstone and features a corrugated metal roof. The building has a three-unit plan and is a single storey with an attic. The front has a three-window range of 19th-century casements at the ground floor, which are set under wooden lintels, and two casements on the first floor located in a combined eyebrow dormer. The central entrance consists of a 19th-century panelled door also under a wooden lintel. The structure has a chamfered plinth and brick and ashlar gable parapets, with brick stacks located at the ridge and ends. The left gable displays the datestone. There is a 20th-century extension at the rear. Inside, the building features some stopped chamfered spine beams.
