Description
Stanbridge Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the 18th century and has been altered over time. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with some ironstone and features an ironstone addition. The cottage has a thatched roof with a brick ridge and a stack at the right-hand end. It is one storey high with an attic and has a three-window range, which includes three 3-light windows on the ground floor and three 2-light eyebrow dormers. The windows have wooden and concrete lintels. The entrance, which features a 20th-century door, is located in a low two-storey porch wing at the rear. There is also a one-storey ironstone addition to the right, topped with a pantiled roof. The interior has not been inspected.
