Description

Manor Farmhouse, now a house, displays origins in the 17th century with significant development in the mid-18th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone with a stone slate roof, arranged in a T-shape plan. The farmhouse is two storeys high, with a portion including attics. The front elevation features a three-window range of modern PVC casement windows set within original openings and bearing wooden lintels. A central six-panel door is also protected by a wooden lintel. Hipped eaves dormers are present. The building has ashlar gable parapets and stone stacks at each end. A two-unit, two-storey rear wing, of 17th-century origin and similar appearance to the front, adjoins the main block. The interior was uninspected, but an open fireplace with a bressumer beam was noted.
