Description

This is a row of six chest tombs located approximately 20 meters west of the tower of the Church of St. Peter. They date from the late 18th century and 19th century and are made of limestone ashlar. Five of the chest tombs feature pairs of bolection moulded pilasters at their corners, while the second tomb from the north end has plain panelled pilasters. The southernmost tomb is from the mid-19th century and is not considered to have special architectural interest. All the tombs have partially legible inscriptions dedicated to the Yorke family.
