Description
Wildacre is a house that dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with mid-19th century additions. It is constructed with a timber frame and wattle infill, which has been rendered, along with brick elements. The roof is a combination of thatch and slate. The original layout features a two-unit lobby-entry plan and the house is single storey with an attic. The ground floor has a sliding sash window with glazing bars on the left side and a central 19th century plank door. There are brick stacks located at the ridge and at the end of the building. To the right, there is a 19th century one-unit, two-storey brick extension, along with a similar lean-to extension at the rear. Inside, the house features ceiling beams and an open fireplace with a bressumer.
