Description
The Manor, located south of St Margaret Parish Church, is a 19th-century house that incorporates some earlier features, with a south wing dated 1731 on a stone plaque. It has a T-plan layout and stands two storeys tall. The building is constructed of red brick and painted brick, with dressed limestone accents. The south wing has been raised to a later 19th-century roof height using brick, and the roofs are covered with slate. There are four 19th-century ridge stacks.
The east-facing facade features one first-floor hung sash window set in a segmental arch, along with two brick buttresses supporting the 19th-century gable. The gable contains three recessed hung sash windows with glazing bars on both floor levels of the 18th-century wing. The main entrance is located on the south side. Inside, one room retains some 18th-century panelling.
