Description
The Old Rectory is a rectory dated 'JG 1849' on carved brick. It is a double fronted house made of gault brick, featuring two slightly projecting gable wings. The building has two storeys and low pitched slate roofs with deep eaves and moulded bargeboards. There are two symmetrical stacks. On the first floor, there are five hung sash windows with glazing bars set in cambered, gauged brick arches. The ground floor has four similar garden windows. A recessed open porch with plastered jambs and a lightly moulded entablature is accessed by two steps, and there is a band between the floors.
