Description
Old Slade Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is built from regularly coursed limestone and features a thatch and concrete tile roof. The original design is a three-unit plan, and the building has two storeys with an attic. The front has a four-window range of casements with glazing bars, some of which are set under wood lintels. The two windows on the first floor to the left are located under eyebrow dormers. There are 20th-century doors positioned to the left of the centre and at the far right. The roof is constructed on two levels and includes one roof dormer, along with stone stacks at the ridge and end. The rear of the farmhouse has a lean-to with a concrete tile roof. The interior has not been inspected.
