Description
31 Huntingdon Road is a former manse, now a house, dating from the late 18th century and 19th century. The building is constructed of stone with brick facades and has a concrete tile roof. It originally had a two-unit plan and is two storeys high with an attic. The front features a three-window range of 20th-century casements set in original openings, which are topped with gauged brick heads that include keyblocks. There is a 20th-century door in the center, which has a similar brick head and a 20th-century hood above it. A flat-topped roof dormer and an ashlar gable parapet are located to the left, aligned with the pantry wall. At the end of the building, there is a brick stack that is shared with No. 29. A 19th-century extension is present at the rear. The interior has not been inspected. The manse is attached to the left side of the main front of Thrapston Baptist Church.
