Description

This is a house located on the east side of the A6003 in Rockingham, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of regular coursed limestone and ironstone, topped with a thatch roof. The original design features a two-unit plan and is a single storey with an attic. The front has a three-window range of 19th-century casements set beneath wooden lintels. There is a similar casement in the attic, positioned under an eyebrow dormer on the right side. To the left of the centre, there is a plank door that is sheltered by a 20th-century hood. Brick stacks are located at both ends of the house, and there is a 20th-century brick single-storey extension to the left. The interior has not been inspected.
