Description

The gates and gatepiers located approximately 10 meters east of Grendon Hall date from the mid-18th century. They consist of a pair of squared coursed limestone gatepiers topped with lead urns, designed in the style of John Van Nost. The gatepiers are connected by wrought iron gates that feature decorative scroll and leaf motifs. It is likely that these structures were restored in the early 20th century.
