Description

The Bocase Stone is a monument likely dating from the 18th century, made of limestone ashlar. It is a rectangular slab with an inscription at the bottom that reads, "Here Stood Bocase Tree," and another at the top stating, "In This Place Grew Bocase Tree." This stone is probably a marker for a forest boundary.
