Description

8 and 10 The Green are two cottages located in Cranford, dating from the 17th to 18th century, with some later alterations. They are built of coursed limestone rubble, with some ironstone, and feature a thatched roof with brick end stacks and a stone ridge. The cottages are one storey with an attic and have a four-window range. The ground floor includes two 20th-century doors with concrete lintels and irregular casement windows. The first floor has four small-paned casements arranged in eyebrow dormers. At the rear, there is a two-storey limestone wing. The interior has not been inspected.
