Description
Glebe Farmhouse is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with later alterations. It is built of coursed limestone rubble with some ironstone and features a thatched roof with brick ridge and end stacks. The building has two storeys.
On the south front, the ground floor includes a 5-light 20th-century casement window, a blocked doorway with a wooden lintel, and two 3-light bay windows. The first floor has three 3-light casement windows and a lean-to on the left side. The rear of the building has a panelled door with an overlight and wooden lintel, two 2-light windows with wooden lintels, and a lean-to addition made of ironstone, which has a 20th-century interlocking concrete tile roof but retains a 2-light gudgeon-hung iron-framed leaded casement window on the left flank. The interior has not been inspected.
