Description
Lime Grove is a cottage dating from the late 17th century and 18th century. It is constructed from coursed and squared ironstone with limestone dressings and features a Welsh slate roof. The building has a single coped gable with a kneeler and includes a central ridge and single gable brick stacks. It stands two storeys high and consists of two bays with a baffle entry plan.
The west front features a central 19th-century beaded panelled door with a wooden lintel, flanked by two three-light casements, with the right one being larger. Above, to the right, there is a two-light casement. The north gable has a 19th-century casement to the right in a blocked doorway, both with wooden lintels. At the rear, there is a lean-to glazed porch to the left, along with a three-light and a two-light 19th-century casement, both also featuring wooden lintels.
