Description
Denford North Lodge is a farmhouse built in the mid 18th century. It is constructed from squared coursed limestone and has an asbestos tile roof. The original layout was a four-unit plan, and the building stands two storeys tall with an attic. The front features a five-window range of 20th-century casements, which include glazing bars, set in original openings beneath wooden lintels. There are two 20th-century doors located to the left and right of the centre, also under renewed lights. At the centre, two bays rise to form an attic dormer that contains two 20th-century casement windows. The gable parapets are made of ashlar, and there are brick and stone stacks at the ridge and ends of the building. The rear elevation includes a mid-19th century brick extension with a catslide roof. Inside, there are remnants of two open fireplaces and stop-chamfered spine beams.
