Description
Moorfield Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1796, constructed from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and topped with a Collyweston stone slate roof. It features coped gables and moulded stone end stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with an overlight and a pedimented hood supported by brackets. There is a plain flush band at the ground floor and window head level. Above the door, there is a 6/6 sash window, while the other windows are tripartite, arranged as 2/2, 6/6, and 2/2 sashes, all with gauged stone heads. The farmhouse also includes two pedimented dormers with 3/3 sashes and a small lean-to addition on the right side. A datestone is located in the left gable, and there is a wing at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
