Description

Forge Cottage is a house that was originally a pair of cottages, built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from witchert, which is colourwashed and rendered, sitting on a rubblestone plinth. The gables are made of brick and feature a band course. The roof is covered with old tiles. The building has two storeys and consists of four bays. There are two glazed doors and four casement windows, along with three small casements on the first floor; the left-hand ones have two lights, while the right-hand one has three lights. Gable stacks are present on the roof. Inside, the cottage features chamfered spine beams.
