Description

The garden wall located on the north side of the garden of the Manor House in Buckingham dates back to 1810 and has undergone some later repairs. It is constructed of red brick in a Flemish garden wall bond and features a semicircular brick coping. The wall includes a limestone block approximately halfway along, which is inscribed with the words 'This wall was Erected by The Marquis of Buckingham AD 1810.' The wall extends from the north corner of the Manor House to the bank of the River Ouse, which marks the eastern boundary of the garden.
