Description
Bucksbridge House is a house that dates from the 16th or 17th century at the rear, with the front part constructed around 1780. The building is finished in painted stucco and features a slate roof with projecting eaves. There are brick chimneys at each end and one in the center. The front elevation is three storeys high, while the rear is two storeys.
The front has three wide bays that contain recessed tripartite sash windows with segmental heads on the ground and first floors, and two-light casements on the second floor. A central glazed door is set within a wide open porch supported by two Doric columns, flanked by two pilasters and topped with an entablature. The right-hand gable wall has three casement windows, and there is a low brick wing at the rear with a tiled roof.
