Description

No. 5 High Street is a shop that forms part of a block with No. 3. The building has an 18th-century front but is originally a 17th-century structure made of painted brick, topped with an old tiled roof featuring dentil brick eaves. It is two storeys high. On the first floor, there are two small paned, two-light casement windows flanking a similar single-light window, all of which have segmental arched heads. The central entrance is a half-glazed door with a cambered arched head, flanked by two 19th-century shop windows.
