Description

The well-head in the courtyard at Doddershall House dates from the 18th century and is constructed of ashlar stone. It is circular in shape and features two shallow steps. There are two square piers that were originally intended to support chain gear, each adorned with moulded cornices and ball finials. This structure is included for its group value with Doddershall House.
