Description
Nos. 28 and 30 on Church Street are a pair of houses built in the late 18th century and early 19th century. The left side features three bays from the late 18th century, while the right side has two bays from the early 19th century. The houses are constructed from chequer brick, with the right side being a paler shade. They have moulded brick plinths and modillion eaves, topped with an old tile roof and brick chimneys located at the gables and to the right of the center. The buildings are two storeys high.
No. 30 on the left has irregular paired barred wooden casements, with three on the ground floor featuring segmental heads, one located in a blocked doorway, and two on the first floor. The windows in the right bay are blocked. There is an entry in an early 19th-century extension at the rear. No. 28 on the right has similar casements, with three on the ground floor, also featuring segmental heads and moulded brick sills. The door is situated between the left windows.
